Igloo wins its fourth award in under two years!

February was another great month for Igloo as not only did we continue to pack out three nights a week, but we picked up yet another award.

Igloo is very proud to be twice winners of Juice FM’s – Liverpool Lifestyle Award – “Best Bar” category, winning it twice in two years. We can now add the Lifestyle Magazine Award to our impressive display, and again we picked it up for the second time in two years in an awards dinner at the Crown Plaza Hotel.

Igloo is delighted to welcome back one of our favourite nights of the year. Signed, Sealed, Delivered is a night of smooth funk and soul, motown, and retro RnB. Presented by our very talented resident DJ…Kevin Tizzle Thompson and a Liverpool legend in DJ Twokind. Entry is just £3…and drinks start at £2 for house beers, wines and spirits. We did it again!

The Igloo team were delighted to again make the final three, in the best bar category in the Juice FM Liverpool Style Awards 2011. Last year we managed to win the title after only being open six short months, and up against superb venues including three times winners Alma De Cuba.

This year the awards took place at the elegant Hilbark Hotel in Chester, and Alma De Cuba, Igloo and our sister bar Republik where the finalists. Igloo again won the award, for the second time in 18 months…we are sure you will agree this is some achievement.

Huge thanks to all the staff for the continued hard work, and special thanks to the voters with over 15,000 voting for us in 2 years, we are now looking for our hat trick next year.
